The Genie and Overhead Door Garage Door Opener have been compatible with this product since 1997. It is important to note that this replacement does not work with remotes that have dip switches. This product is a replacement for the GK-R, GK-BX, GWKPD-BL, OKP-BX Wireless Keypad and the G3T-R, G3T-BX, G3T-A Remote.
The Auto-Seek Dual Frequency (315/390 MHz) Rolling Code technology used in this product eliminates interference and extends the range, allowing the Long Range Remote to work over 164 feet from the garage door opener for "no waiting" roll-in access. The 240MAH large capacity lithium battery powers the device, which has undergone more than 100,000 rigorous tests and is certified by the North American FCC.
The third generation of intelligent low-power chips and a new architecture provide more comprehensive compatibility. The ABS alloy material used in the construction ensures the remote is strong and fall-resistant, while the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use.
Pairing the remote with the garage door opener is a straightforward process, and it can operate up to 3 garage door openers. Additionally, the remote can be set to have a temporary PIN, allowing neighbors or service workers to access the garage door without the need for a permanent code.
